Cristina Chiotan is presently leading on the policy and advocacy related tasks. She monitors, analises, and writes brief reports on EU policy developments in public health, health promotion and the social determinants of health and health inequalities, with a special focus on the European Pillar of Social Rights and the European Semester process. She promotes members’ work at EU level, in multistakeholder platforms and international strategic partnerships, i.e. EU Platform on Diet, Physical Activity and Health, European Parliament, WHO Europe.
