Biography

Since qualifying, I have worked in Emergency Medicine and Operating Theatres. Prior to general nursing I qualified as a dental nurse at Guy's Hospital, London where I worked in the Oral & Maxillo Facial Operating Theatre before working at the Royal Dental Hospital in Leicester Square, London. Following on I trained as a medical photographer and was based at the London Hospital in Whitechapel. I hold qualifications in Accident & Emergency Nursing, Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support nursing. I have an MSc in Advanced Nursing. I hold an honorary contract in a London major trauma centre and work there on a regular basis to maintain my clinical competencies.
