Christopher Henkels, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, was raised in New York and received the A.B. from Colgate University in 1993 and the M.S. in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology from Cornell University in 1997. In 2005, Henkels was awarded a Ph.D. from the Duke University Department of Biochemistry for his work on the biophysical characterization of ribonuclease P protein, an intrinsically disordered protein.
