Biography

Dr. Christine Courbasson is the Head of the Eating Disorders and Addiction Clinic and serves as Director of Training: Clinical Psychology Practicum Training Program, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She holds an appointment of assistant professor with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She received her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from York University and was the recipient of a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She established the Eating Disorders and Addiction Clinic in 2000 and is involved in the training of clinicians in the application of treatments for concurrent eating disorders and addiction, concurrent anxiety disorders and addiction and other areas of mental health and addiction.  She is the author of a number of articles and book chapters, has lectured on a variety of topics related to her clinical and research interests and has appeared in various television and radio programs.  Dr. Christine Courbasson is the Head of the Eating Disorders and Addiction Clinic and serves as Director of Training: Clinical Psychology Practicum Training Program, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
