Biography

Professor of Southern University of Science and Technology, Professor of Changjiang Scholars of the Ministry of Education, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He graduated from the Department of Earth and Space Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China with a bachelor's degree in 1985 and a master's degree from the Institute of Geophysics, China Earthquake Institute. He received his Ph.D. degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Southern California in 1991 The 1996 returned to work, has taught at Peking University and China University of Science and Technology, in September 2016 joined the Southern University of Science and Technology. Has been engaged in geophysics teaching and research work, published more than 100 papers, has trained more than 20 doctors and more than 30 master, has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation Jieqing project, outstanding innovation group project, key projects, international ( Regional cooperation projects, major project topics and the Ministry of Science and Technology 973 project topics and other research projects more than 20 items. The main research directions for the theory and computational geophysics, geodynamics and its application in earthquake disaster reduction and resource exploration.

Seismic wave propagation and structural imaging in complex earth media; 2. Seismic rupture dynamics and geophysics; 3. Quantitative simulation of near-field ground vibration and prediction of earthquake damage; 4. Earth's internal structure and geodynamics.
