She completed her studies at the Department of Economics (BSc) of the University of Crete and obtained a Master's Degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Crete and a PhD in Economics from the University of Crete (2010). She worked as a Scientific and Laboratory Associate (2011-2013) at the Accounting Department of Technological Educational Institution (TEI) of Epirus, Greece, and as a researcher (2013) at the Unit for Macroeconomic Analysis and Economic Transformation at the Observatory of Economic and Social Developments of the Institute of Labor (INE) -GSEE, Athens, Greece.
