Biography

I specialise in children’s nursing, neonatal care, management and leadership. During my career in both practice and education I have worked with colleagues to reflect and evaluate on the evidence base informing the quality of care provided in both practice and the academic environment. Over the years I have been involved in a range of curriculum development activities and acted as an external examiner to a number of the University’s pre and post-registration health care education courses. In association with the Neonatal Nursing Association, BLISS and Baby Breathe Easy I have been active within a number of projects and presented at or acted as Conference Chair at a number of events both in the UK and Australia.
