Biography

Dr. Bennett is a third generation educator with a PhD in Educational Administration, Policy and Planning.  She has taught in a variety of settings in the Middle East, South East Asia, and in the United States.  She writes oral narratives, books of poetry, and novels – as well as academic publishing. Dr. Bennett is a member of the American Educational Research Association: Division A—Social and Community Context; SIG—Family School Community Partnerships. SIG—Action Research; SIG—Writing & Literacies. She is also a member of Teachers of English as a Second Language (TESOL).
