Biography

Candidate of Medical Sciences, senior scientific employee of the FGBU SRI GB Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, leading ophthalmic surgeon of the Vision Recovery Center at the FGBU Research Institute of Eye Diseases of RAMS  In 2006 he studied at the Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M. Sechenov in the specialty of "Medicine", after which in 2008 he graduated from the FGBU residency at the Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2011, K.S. Avetisov graduated from the postgraduate course of the FGBU Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, defending his thesis on "New approaches to lens research on the basis of combined ultrasound methods," after which KS. Avetisov was awarded the title of candidate of medical sciences. K.S. Avetisov is the author of a number of scientific papers and publications, including "Theoretical background and preliminary results of the effect of excimer laser keratorefraction operations on the accuracy of tonometric studies", 2006, "Opportunities of autofluorescence of the fundus in diagnosis of early manifestations of age-related macular degeneration in patients with artifacty" , 2007, "The first experience of using spatial ultrasound scanning for lens evaluation", 2008 and others. At present, K.S. Avetisov is a highly qualified ophthalmic surgeon, who annually holds about 600 eye operations using high technologies and innovative approaches.
