Dr.Udvadia is working as the Assistant Professor in the the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI. She has completed her Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroscience and PhD in Molecular Cancer Biology from Duke University, BS in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Udvadia honoured with NRSA in Natl. Inst. of Neurological Disorders and Stroke for individual postdoctoral fellowship, Grass Fellowship for summer research in residence at the MBL, Woods Hole, MA and Shaw Scientist Award, Greater Milwaukee Foundation, competitive research award for new faculty in University of Wisconsin Madison or Milwaukee.
Dr.Udvadia focused on regulation of genes, Translating environmental guidance cues to cytoskeletal changes in growing axons by GAP-43 phosphorylation, Transgenic reporter fish as indicators of environmental stressors.
