Research Intrest

Arabinda Research interests includes the development of novel therapeutic strategies for Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Epilepsy, Glaucoma, and Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Analysis of the roles of calpain, and protein kinases involved in the alteration of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in SCI, TBI, and Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis (EAE), a model of MS, The development of new drugs for cancer treatment and the translation of these findings into clinical trials. Focusing mainly on glioblastoma multiforme (the most common and devastating of the human brain tumors) and neuroblastoma.
