An Aboriginal of Métis descent (Ojibway), Anthony is a graduate of the Sport Administration program at Durham College, and is a coach of grassroots hockey, baseball, and soccer. He is a former Community sport leader with the Métis Nation of Ontario, and Manager of the National Aboriginal Coaching and Leadership program with the Aboriginal Sport Circle
