Assoc. prof. dr. sc. Anamaria Ekert Kabalin, MD was born in 1975 in Petrinja. She finished primary school in Sv. Križ ZaÄretje, and the General Gymnasium in Zabok. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zagreb enrolled in 1993 and graduated in 2000. In March 2000 he enrolled in postgraduate studies in natural sciences at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Zagreb. The academic degree of the Master of Science in the field of natural sciences, the field of biology (molecular and cell biology), was acquired in 2006. In February 2008 he earned an academic degree in biomedicine and health science, scientific field veterinary medicine, scientific branch of veterinary medicine. Since January 2001 she has been employed at the Department of Livestock at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Zagreb. He has been appointed scientific research associate in 2008, and in scientific consultant in the field of biomedicine and health - veterinary medicine field in 2010. In the field of veterinary medicine / animal production and biotechnology in the field of veterinary medicine / animal production and biotechnology, in 2009, he was elected as an associate professor and in 2016 as a full professor. Prof. dr. sc. Anamaria Ekert Kabalin participates in the teaching of three compulsory and one elective courses of integrated undergraduate and graduate veterinary medicine, followed by two courses in veterinary science doctoral studies and one subject within the specialist field of theriogenology of domestic mammals. In 2011. He was appointed Head of the Postgraduate Specialist Study on "Production and Protection of Pig Health", as well as two mandatory subjects within the same. Head of the scientific research project "Patobiology of Prenatal, Perinatal and Postnatal Losses in Breeding of Pigs" (MSES Project), and was the head of the project of the Council for Agricultural Research "Dalmatian Ridge - Phenotypic Characteristics and Environmental Determination of Areas" (MPRRR RH project). As a collaborator, four more scientific-research projects were involved. So far, as author or co-author, 107 scientific and professional papers and summaries have been published ( Perinatatal and Postnatal Losses in Breeding of Pigs "(MSES Project), and was the project leader of the Council for Agricultural Research" Dalmatian Tango - Phenotypic Characteristics and Environmental Determinations of the Areas "(MAFRD RH project). As a collaborator, four more scientific-research projects were involved. He is one of the authors of the Veterinary Manual (6th Edition, Medical Publishing, Zagreb, 2012.) and is the author of a reviewed online lecture published on the faculty website. She was a member of the editorial board of the Chronicle of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, a reviewer in the scientific journals "Veterinary Archives" and "Livestock", and since 2010 member of the editorial board of the journal "Livestock". He is a member of the Croatian Veterinary Chamber, the Croatian Veterinary Association, the EAAP (European Federation of Animal Science), the Sports Association of the Veterinary Faculty and the Club of Pincer and Schnauzer.
