She currently holds an Associate Professor of Biology position at Barry University. Her teaching experience includes over 20 different courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Undergraduate courses taught include Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Biological Foundations, and Senior Seminar, including laboratories. Graduate courses taught include Human Physiology and Neuroanatomy lab. Her research interest includes the effects of aging on sensory systems, specializing in hearing and more recently on tactile mechanoreceptors.
