Biography

Dr. Amy Peak is the Director of Undergraduate Health Science Programs at Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is a licensed pharmacist and is also certified as a Wellness Coach, personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and immunizing pharmacist. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from Butler University, completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at St. Vincent Hospitals and Health Services, and a Visiting Scientist/Fellowship at Eli Lilly and Company. She is a past president of the Indiana College of Clinical Pharmacy, as well as the founder and a past president of the Drug Information Practice and Research Network within the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. She was a primary creator, and is the administrator of the undergraduate health science and healthcare and business programs at Butler. Her primary practice, research, and interest areas are related to healthcare education, patient safety, providing medical care for the uninsured, and individual and population wellness. She is well-published and has provided a myriad of presentations at local, state, and national levels.
