Biography

Amanpal Singh see patients and perform procedures at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. As a gastroenterologist with a subspecialization in advanced therapeutic endoscopy, my clinical practice focuses on patients who require complex endoscopic procedures for prevention, diagnosis, and management of various gastrointestinal disorders. These procedures include upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, enteral stenting, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. He enjoy my interaction with the gastroenterology fellows and residents. He teach gastroenterology fellows in the endoscopy and inpatient consult service, and I also enjoy mentoring residents in research projects. His research interest is studying the use of endoscopic procedures in the prevention and better management of patients with gastrointestinal cancers. One of the main foci of my work is looking at the trends of the use and quality of screening and surveillance colonoscopy for the prevention of colorectal cancer.
