While research in biomaterials-cell interactions is my primary interest, my other career interests include international collaborations and science policy. I'm a strong believer in international collaborations as a means to transcend sociopolitical barriers and form tighter bonds between countries, as well as to promote a general culture of acceptance of diversity.
