Biography

Alan Herbert is a graduate of Rhodes University. He completed his Masters in large scale in software network simulation at Rhodes University and is currently enrolled for his PhD in distributed hardware accelerated network event analysis.

Research Intrest

Networks, network security, information security, application specific hardware development (both FPGA and MCU based), high performance clusters and mathematical application to big data.
