Biography

Dr. Alaa Salman is an Assistant Professor - Civil Engineering Department at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. His major expertise is in the area of construction engineering and management. He has more than 20 years of academic and practical experiences in conducting infrastructure asset management such as water main and sewer networks, roads, bridges, hydro, and dam projects. He has published more than 20 papers and technical reports in refereed journals, international conference proceedings, and government (public) domains.

Research Intrest

Construction engineering and management and infrastructure asset management, which include condition assessment, risk analysis, budget allocation, technical and customer level of services, capital and maintenance project plans, trenchless technology, and cost-time-quality control.
