Afagh Alavi received his BSc in Biology from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz Iran (998) and MSc and PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Tehran Iran (respectively 2007 & 203). He spent more than 5 years as a teacher of Biology (998-203) and then moved to University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences Tehran Iran (203). Since 203 he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Genetics Research Center in this university. His main areas of research interest lie in the area of genetics and molecular analysis of neuromuscular and muscular disorders.
