Aekaterini Mavri holds an MA in Design for Interactive Media and a BA in Visual Communication Design from Middlesex University (UK). She has worked for several years in the design industry as a graphic and web designer. In 2005 she co-founded a Web and ΙΤ solutions company specializing in property management and online reservations solutions as well as content management systems and email marketing tools, mainly for the hospitality sector. She has managed and co-developed multiple web application projects and e-commerce websites.
Her research interests focus on interface design and development based on web standards and usability guidelines as well as technology enhanced learning for application design and development.
