Biography

Emmanuel Adegbite is a Professor of Accounting, Governance and Responsibility. He also provides leadership for the Department of Accounting and Finance at Leicester Business School. The department is one of the largest in the business school and houses a diverse range of faculty members, with experience in academia, industry, commerce and the public sector. The department hosts vibrant research clusters, an energetic doctoral community, and welcomes partnership suggestions, research ideas, and research funding enquiries. Professor Adegbite contributes to the university’s research leadership strategy, at the departmental level, school level and within the broader university context. Prior to joining Leicester Business School, he held senior academic positions at Birmingham Business School, Durham University Business School and Newcastle Business School.
