"Adele teaches aspects of tissue viability to student nurses, medical students and pharmacy students as well as to qualified nurses. She leads the two undergraduate module Principles of Wound and Tissue Repair and Tissue Viability, both are blended eLearning modules combining face-to-face seminars with online work (Flipped Classroom), and also Wound Management: Clinical Challenges, part of the MSc Healthcare Practice. Adele has a strong interest in the use of online learning. She has undertaken research exploring eLearning design issues, a pilot study introducing ePortfolios into special study modules and an evaluative study on the use of learning contracts, and has presented widely on online learning as well as on wound management. She is currently leading on introducing My Progress into the Faculty, working with other schools within the faculty. My Progress is an ePortfolio that integrates students' assessment of practice with their PDPs. My Progress also uses an app that allows for offline documentation which is then synced when wireless connectivity is available. Adele is also the Faculty rep on the Personal Student working group within Kingston University."
