Biography

Stephen Ackland is a Lecturer in Computer Science, teaching mathematical modelling, AI and advanced C++ programming on the BSc Games Programming course. He is a member of the Intelligent Games and Interactivity (IGI) research group within the Centre for Computational Intelligence (CCI) with a research interest in Artificial Intelligence in Games. His other research is primarily in the field of Computer Vision focussing on human-computer interaction methodologies such as head-pose tracking and eye-gaze estimation.
